On July 16, at Hai Phong Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, doctors welcomed a "little angel" in a very special way - a baby boy born whole in a week. According to the hospital, this is a rare medical phenomenon that only occurs in about one of the 80,000 births.
"We have welcomed many births, both naturally and proactively, but this moment is really special" - Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong, Head of Obstetrics Department 3, has just successfully performed the surgery, sharing. After the oil bag was opened, the child cried for the first time, healthy, and rosy.
Previously, on May 7, Hoan My Vinh Hospital (Nghe An) also successfully performed a cesarean section for the pregnant woman L.T.N (born in 1995, from Ninh Binh), giving birth to a baby girl with the whole amniotic fluid. The birth occurred when she was 38 weeks and 6 days pregnant. During surgery, the fetus is removed from the mother's body but the amniotic sac is still not broken - a condition known as "closed fever". After that, the doctor proactively ruptured the oil bag to ensure the baby's safety.
