On the evening of January 7, Health and Life Newspaper (Ministry of Health) in coordination with Herbalife Vietnam organized the award ceremony of the 4th "I am healthier and more beautiful" contest.
The contest contributes to spreading the health training movement, practicing scientific nutrition, creating cohesive and positive sharing communities.

2025 marks major changes in the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws on protecting, caring for and improving people's health. Resolution No. 72 of the Politburo requires a strong shift from medical examination and treatment thinking to early disease prevention thinking, considering protecting and caring for people's health as the responsibility of the entire political system and the whole society. The Law on Disease Prevention just passed by the National Assembly in December 2025 is considered a major turning point, officially making preventive work a pillar of the Vietnamese health care system.
Journalist Tran Tuan Linh - Editor-in-Chief of Health and Life Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee said that the "I am healthier and more beautiful" contest for the 4th time along with many other programs and events, was identified by the Newspaper as the task of continuous and active health communication to contribute to concretizing the humane guidelines and policies of the Party, State, and the Health sector to raise people's awareness of the importance of physical exercise and scientific eating, and periodic medical examinations.
The spirit of the season 4 competition also closely follows the policy of "lifetime prevention - early prevention - remote prevention" that Vietnam is strongly shifting in its thinking about healthcare.
After 3 successful seasons, this year's competition continues to record a boom in the number of candidates with more than 5,332 registered participants.

I am healthier and more beautiful for the 4th time including 3 rounds of competition (each round lasts 1 month), including: Registration and participation in the online competition, training and practicing nutrition in 1 month to select the Top 100 candidates; online competition and interaction with experts, sharing knowledge to select the Top 30 candidates; ranking round of Top 12 best candidates to award prizes.
According to the Organizing Committee, the total weight change of all candidates this year is 21,326kg; 23,215cm of reduced waist circumference; about 99.1% of candidates have clear changes in body index. In addition to direct candidates, in 3 months, the contest has spread to thousands of other people through the connection of candidates and periodic activities each round; the common age of candidates is from about 30-45, in many regions, industries, and fields.
The number changes of candidates are not simply about losing or gaining weight, but about preventing diseases. And even if we do not significantly change weight, the training and nutritional practice process of candidates and thousands, tens of thousands of people responding to the competition is the most effective disease prevention," journalist Tran Tuan Linh emphasized.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded a Special Prize worth 50 million VND to candidate Ngo Xuan Bach from Hanoi; the First Prize worth 30 million VND to candidate Nguyen Thi Van (Quang Ngai). The remaining prizes include 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 5 Fourth Prizes awarded to 10 candidates.
