Diet for people with hypertension:

Should:
Eat lightly (salt intake below 5g/day), reduce salt intake in the diet
Eat more green vegetables
Drink plenty of water, the recommended amount of water is 40ml/kg weight/day, in older cases it is needed 30 – 35ml/kg weight/day
Drink herbs to help lower blood pressure: green tea, cinnamon tea, hibiscus flower tea, pomfret fruit, bitter melon tea, lotus heart, chrysanthemum flower tea, roasted brown rice, Sophora japonica tea...
People with high blood pressure should practice appropriate sports such as aerobics, jogging, cycling, swimming... to maintain weight and reduce cardiovascular risk. You should exercise ≥30 minutes/day, 5-7 days/week, and check blood pressure and heart rate before and after exercise to adjust the appropriate intensity.
Should not:
Eating a lot of salt, canned and processed foods such as spring rolls, bacon, pickled mustard greens... makes the body retain water.
Eating a lot of sugar easily leads to weight gain, obesity causes high blood pressure
Eat greasy processed foods, fatty meat and animal organs, bone broth
Eat foods high in sugar
Drink alcohol, beer, coffee, carbonated drinks and stimulants (causes: faster heartbeat, constricted blood vessels, and high blood pressure).
