The Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) has just issued a decision to suspend the circulation and recall nationwide the Gel AG Nano TP Plus - Box 1 type 20g cosmetic product, lot 072024, production date 16.7.2024, expiration date 15.7.2027, manufactured by Quang Xanh Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Company Limited and TH Pharma Import-Export Joint Stock Company.
According to the report from the Nghe An Provincial Department of Health and Testing Form No. 498 dated June 17, 2025 of the Nghe An Center for Testing Drugs, Cosmetics, and Food, this product sample was taken at Pharmacy 365 (No. 178 Tran Phu, Vinh City, Nghe An) and did not meet the quality standards for microorganistic limitations.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requires the suspension of circulation, recall and destroy all batches of violating products nationwide. The two related units, TH Pharma and Quang Xanh, must send a notice of revocation to the distribution location, receive the returned product and proceed with destruction, and report the results of revocation and destruction to the Department before August 21, 2025.
The Department of Health of provinces and centrally run cities needs to: Notify businesses and cosmetic users to stop using the above product batch; Organize the recovery, destruction and strictly handle violations according to regulations.
The Hanoi and Hung Yen Departments of Health are assigned the task of: Supervising the recovery and destruction process of the two above companies; Inspection of compliance with legal regulations on cosmetic management of enterprises; send inspection results to the Drug Administration before September 5, 2025.
