The Drug Administration of Vietnam issued a notice to suspend the circulation and recall nationwide of 2 violating cosmetic products.
2 products withdrawn due to circulating labels not meeting product labeling regulations include: Aquafresh Soft mint (receipt number: 264128/25/CBMP-QLD, issued on January 22, 2025) and Aquafresh Clear mint (receipt number: 264127/25/CBMP-QLD, issued on January 22, 2025).
The 2 products are organized by Phat Anh Minh Company Limited - the organization responsible for bringing the products to the market, address No. 13D, Information Command Collective Area, Tu Hiep Commune, Hanoi, production and distribution.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requires the Department of Health of provinces and centrally run cities to notify cosmetic businesses and users in the area to immediately stop trading, using and return the products to the supplier. At the same time, carry out the recovery, inspection, supervision and strictly handle violating units according to regulations.
Phat Anh Minh Company Limited is responsible for sending recall notices to all distribution and use points; receiving returned products and organizing the recall and destruction of all two products above. The recall report must be sent to the Department of Drug Administration before June 25, 2025.
The Hanoi Department of Health is assigned to supervise the recall process of Phat Anh Minh Company Limited and report the implementation results to the Drug Administration before June 30, 2025.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam informs the Departments of Health and related units to know and promptly implement.
