The Long Chau pharmacy and vaccination center system has been ranked by Ecovadis as a leading reputable sustainable development enterprise in the world, awarded the Committed Badge.
This is recognition for Long Chau's continuous improvement efforts in implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of sustainable development practices, meeting Ecovadis's assessment framework on four key pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Business Ethics and Sustainable Shopping.
This is considered a milestone showing that Long Chau's initial steps on the sustainable development journey are on the right track and approaching international standards on ESG implementation.

Representatives of the pharmacy system and Long Chau vaccination center said: "Committed Badge is not the destination, but the starting point. This badge reminds Long Chau to continue to improve the system, improve operating standards, better manage ESG risks and spread sustainable development thinking more deeply throughout the value chain: From internal to partner, from today to the future".
We are committed to constantly improving, putting people at the center, taking social responsibility as the foundation and taking sustainable development as the long-term orientation.

At each pharmacy and vaccination center, Long Chau focuses on building a clean environment, strictly complying with safety rules: from operating, preserving drugs to treating medical waste. The system also promotes streamlining and digitizing all processes, helping to significantly reduce waste and save energy.
Notably, in recent years, Long Chau has pioneered strategic cooperation with pharmaceutical units to properly treat and recycle more than 478,000 used plastic shells of insulin injection pens, shells of asthma and COPD sprayers. Through projects, Long Chau expects to create a sustainable and strategic cooperation model in medical waste management and environmental protection in Vietnam.
Besides green development, Long Chau is also steadfast in its mission of improving community health through efforts to promote transparency in the pharmaceutical industry, putting people at the center of all activities.
Based on a technology platform and a "close to the people, close to the people" network, the system has brought modern and safe healthcare services closer to tens of millions of Vietnamese people, contributing to equalizing access to healthcare wherever they are.
On that journey, digital transformation, big data application and AI are the "keys" for Long Chau to optimize operation, deeply understand customer needs from prevention, treatment, to long-term care.
At the same time, aiming to narrow the gap in healthcare in difficult places, the "Long Chau Sharing" program has been and is accompanying local authorities, hospitals, and medical facilities to implement many screening, medical examination, and free medicine distribution programs for people.
In parallel, the unit implements many meaningful activities: supporting tons of medicines and medical supplies for people in the Central region after natural disasters; deploying a free immunization campaign; joining forces with the Ministry of Health and units to raise community awareness about stroke prevention and management...
These are strategic steps, affirming the consistent and long-term commitment of businesses to protecting and improving community health, responding to the spirit of Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Resolution No. 282/NQ-CP of the Government.
In addition to standardizing operations, Long Chau identifies human resource development as endogenous strength, creating a solid foundation for the journey "for a healthy Vietnam".
In the past year, the system has implemented many in-depth training programs for pharmacists, doctors and nurses, focusing on updating scientific knowledge, improving consulting capacity, standardizing vaccination safety and emergency treatment skills, with the companionship of hospitals, training institutions and reputable pharmaceutical partners at home and abroad.

It is known that EcoVadis is one of the world's leading reputable business sustainability ranking organizations, currently assessing more than 130,000 businesses globally.
Previously, the Long Chau pharmacy and vaccination center system received the title "Asian Excellent Enterprise" at APEA 2025.
