According to the meteorological agency and local government, the prolonged heavy rains in recent days have caused deep flooding and serious damage in many areas in Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Gia Lai.
In Khanh Hoa, many streets in Nha Trang City are submerged in water, some places are flooded almost up to the roof of cars, while the water level on Dinh - Ninh Hoa river exceeds alert level 3 and is higher than the historical flood peak in 1986.
In Dak Lak, common rainfall is 60 - 150 mm, with measurement points of nearly 270 mm, causing many areas to be flooded more than 1 m, some roads to be eroded, and traffic disruption. In the Central - Central Highlands region alone, many places recorded total rainfall exceeding 450 mm, causing the flood peak in the Ba River basin (Dak Lak) to exceed the historical level in 1993.
The situation of deep flooding, flash floods and landslides continues to be complicated, seriously affecting people's lives and causing a shortage of medical resources in many isolated locations.

As soon as it received information about the prolonged heavy rain causing flash floods and landslides in many areas of the Central region, Long Chau quickly mobilized teams, coordinated with local authorities and health sectors of the provinces to transport 3 tons more of medicine to the most severely affected areas. Support activities focus on providing flu, cough medicine, diarrhea medicine, topical medications, ice cream and many other necessary medical supplies.

This timely support aims to help people proactively prevent the risk of epidemics in unfavorable weather conditions, polluted water sources and poor living conditions when many areas are still deeply flooded and have prolonged power outages.

Long Chau representative emotionally shared: We deeply understand the losses and hardships that people have to endure when natural disasters come. Therefore, Long Chau always tries to promptly support and accompany the locality to take care of the health of the people. We hope that these small contributions will help people become more stable, soon stabilize their lives and continue to overcome difficulties.
Although the storms have affected the lives of many employees and their families and caused damage to some stores in the system, with the deep affection of the people, the Long Chau team has made efforts to overcome difficulties, to be close to the places where people are facing the most difficulties.
Long Chau quickly sent a team of personnel to the area to survey and grasp the situation, and at the same time mobilized 3 tons of medicine and medical supplies, in coordination with the local Department of Health.

Previously, on October 31, Long Chau promptly mobilized 4 tons of medicine, health care products and essential medical supplies to rescue people in flooded areas in the Central provinces. These practical activities demonstrate Long Chau's strong commitment to accompanying the community, continuing to concretize the spirit of Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Resolution 282/NQ-CP of the Government on improving people's health.
