Comprehensive health care program
The Ministry of Health and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association organized the program "Comprehensive medical access - health care for people with meritorious services" at Thuan Thanh War Invalids Nursing Center, Bac Ninh.
During the program, doctors and nurses performed medical examinations, in-depth blood tests, ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, and acupressure for wounded soldiers, their caregivers, and the Center's staff.
Deputy Minister Tran Van Thuan personally visited the examination tables, asked about the health, talked with and encouraged the wounded soldiers. The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of following the health care and treatment instructions from doctors to ensure long-term health.
"We hope the program will bring comprehensive health care, joy and warmth to veterans and wounded soldiers during the traditional Tet holiday, as a sincere thank you from the young generation," Deputy Minister Tran Van Thuan shared.
Deputy Minister Tran Van Thuan affirmed that the Party and State always pay deep attention to the work of gratitude and perfecting social security policies to improve the material and spiritual life of those with meritorious services, by perfecting social security policies and improving their material and spiritual life.
Support and upgrade care conditions
In 2024, the Ministry of Health coordinated with relevant agencies to resolve many important issues at Thuan Thanh War Invalids Nursing Center. In particular, ensuring health insurance policies for war invalids and upgrading medical facilities and equipment were carried out under the direction of the Minister.
In addition, the Center also receives support to improve medical care conditions, helping wounded soldiers to be examined and treated promptly at central hospitals when necessary.
On behalf of the wounded and sick soldiers, Mr. Le Van Quy expressed his sincere gratitude for the attention of the Ministry of Health. He shared: "The care of the Party, the State and the health sector is a great source of encouragement, helping us live happily, healthily, and continue to overcome difficulties."
