On the morning of October 21, S.I.S Can Tho International General Hospital said that the male patient who suffered a cerebral hemorrhage stroke (the person who was given a road by Can Tho Traffic Police on the night of October 17) was past the critical stage, alert, communicated and moved well after a positive treatment.
According to Dr. Ngo Minh Truong - Emergency Resuscitation Department, the patient, Mr. H (73 years old, Tra Vinh ward, Vinh Long province) was admitted to the hospital in a state of convulsions, difficulty in assessing the strength of the limbs, and high blood pressure.
The emergency team immediately activated the alarm, conducted an imaging diagnosis, treated blood pressure control, anti-concussion, and oxygen therapy to support breathing.

The results of brain MRI, cerebral vascular disease recorded right frontal cerebral hemorrhage, accompanied by surrounding cerebral edema, blood spread into the subarachnoid cavity, and increased brain hemorrhage due to high blood pressure. The male patient was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit for further treatment.
"The patient was brought in in time during rush hour, thanks to which we could intervene early, limit brain damage and save the patient's life. Currently, the patient's health recovery is very positive," said Dr. Ngo Minh Truong.
Previously, on the way to take his father from Vinh Long to Can Tho for emergency care, the patient's son discovered that his father had signs of convulsions and unconsciousness.
At that time, I was very scared, afraid that I would not be able to make a golden time, so I stopped my car at Hung Phu Traffic Police Station to ask for support. The traffic police immediately cleared the way to S.I.S Can Tho Hospital," the patient's family recounted.
According to the Traffic Police Department of Can Tho City Police, on the evening of October 17, the Working Group of Hung Phu Traffic Police Station (Can Tho City Police) was conducting an alcohol concentration test as planned when a car with license plate 64H-057.XX belonging to a patient's family stopped to ask for support.
The leaders of the Working Group directed Lieutenant Colonel Pham Minh Huong and a soldier of the Mobile Police Department to use a special vehicle to quickly clear the way to take the patient to the emergency room in time.
Up to now (October 21), after 4 days of treatment, the patient has regained consciousness, eaten and talked normally.
Here, Dr. Tran Chi Cuong - Director of S.I.S Can Tho International General Hospital - expressed his gratitude to the Traffic Police of Hung Phu Station and the people for giving way, helping the patient to be taken to the hospital quickly, regaining the opportunity to live in the "golden time".
