On the morning of August 12, the Van Yen Regional Medical Center, Lao Cai Province, quickly informed about the situation of patients in the traffic accident in Lang Chang village, Phong Du Thuong commune, which left 12 people injured and dead on the evening of August 11.
Previously, at around 8:30 p.m. on August 11, a traffic accident occurred in Phong Du Thuong commune, killing 12 people, including 1 person.
Immediately afterwards, the Van Yen Regional Medical Center (TTYT) directed the Commune Health Station to provide initial emergency care and instructed the patient to be transferred to the TTYT for treatment.
Mr. Lo Van Manh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee was identified as the driver of the Toyota Fortuner car with blue license plate 21C-1927.
The test results showed that Mr. Manh had an alcohol concentration of 0.286 mg/l of breath and did not control the steering wheel.
The victim died P.D.K (born in 2017, a student at Phong Du Thuong Primary School), in Lang Chang village, Phong Du Thuong commune.
Identities of 11 injured people:
1. Sieu Thi Thanh, 28 years old, with a spinal injury (M48.3) and a broken rib (S22.3) was transferred to the No. 1 General Hospital of Lao Cai province.
2. Ngo Thi Hoa, 29 years old, with chest damage, broken ribs, and right lung marrow contusion is completing the application for transfer to Lao Cai Province No. 1 General Hospital.
3. Lo Thuy Huong, 22 years old, suffered a minor injury to her head.
4. Hoang Thi The, 37 years old, suffered multiple injuries due to a traffic accident: chest contusion (S20.2), broken shoulder and arm bone (S42), broken rib (S22.3). The patient was transferred to General Hospital No. 1 of Lao Cai province.
5. Mai Thi Hue, 28 years old, suffered from second heat burns in her back, left shoulder, and neck area of about 8% and was in the process of burns and shock.
6. Hoang Thi Tuyet Nhu, 7 years old, has a minor injury to her head.
7. Mai Anh Tu, 38 months old, suffered multiple injuries to his ankle and foot.
8. Lo Van Hieu, 8 years old, suffered a chest contusion and a broken collarbone and was transferred to the No. 1 General Hospital of Lao Cai province.
9. Sieu Van Dung, 11 years old, suffered a fracture of the third of his left thigh and was transferred to Lao Cai Province's No. 1 General Hospital.
10. Lo Van Khanh, 7 years old, suffered heat and moisture burns I in the back, left shoulder, and neck area of about 2% and was in the process of burns and shock.
11. Vu Van Thanh, 40 years old, is currently being transferred from Phong Du Thuong commune to Van Yen regional health station.
Currently, the patients' health has stabilized and they are continuing to be treated at Van Yen Regional Health Center.
