On May 29, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Thanh Hoa General Hospital's leadership confirmed that Mr. Duong Van Tho, the owner of the clinic (at 69 Le Thanh Tong Street, Dong Ve Ward, Thanh Hoa City - where the woman died unexpectedly) is holding the position of Head of the Trauma Department at the hospital.

After the incident at noon on May 28, in the early afternoon of the same day, Doctor Tho called to take a leave of absence in the afternoon and May 29 to serve the verification and clarification of the incident informed a representative of Thanh Hoa General Hospital.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at noon and afternoon of May 28, at the Forensic Clinic (No. 69 Le Thanh Tong Street, Dong Ve Ward, Thanh Hoa City), a woman died while undergoing surgery and collar brace.
According to the initial report of Dong Ve Ward Police, at around 4:00 p.m. on May 28, Mr. Ngo Duc T. (born in 1983, residing in Nong Cong Town, Nong Cong District, Thanh Hoa Province) went to Dong Ve Ward Police to report: at around 10:00 a.m. the same day, his family took Ms. L.T.L. (in Minh Nghia commune, Nong Cong district) went to the clinic at 69 Le Thanh Tong, Dong Ve ward, Thanh Hoa city for surgery, bracelets, and collarbone nail bracelets.
At 11am the same day, Dr. Duong Van Tho, the clinic owner, came home for a preliminary check-up, then told his family to take Ms. L. to the floor to perform surgery and strengthen the broken bone.
At around 3:00 p.m., an ambulance arrived at the clinic; then, about 3-4 people carried the stretcher down, on the stretcher was Ms. L.
Seeing that, Mr. T.'s family asked why one of these people said Ms. L. had an allergy and took her to the hospital for emergency care. However, at that time, Ms. L.'s face was swollen, her skin was pale, and there were no signs of breathing, so the family asked her not to move but to keep the clinic, and invited the authorities to work.
After receiving the incident, the authorities were present at the scene to investigate and clarify.
