On the morning of July 13, information from the leaders of Phu Quoc special zone (An Giang) said that the specialized forces of the health sector had transferred the case with severe underlying illness in the canoe capsizing accident to Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for further treatment.

Patients have been prioritized to complete all procedures at the airport in the fastest way. At the same time, the airline has arranged a separate area on the flight, fully equipped with modern resuscitation medical equipment and a team of specialized doctors and nurses always on duty to promptly respond and handle any erratic situations that may arise during the journey.

Notably, for patients to have sufficient health conditions to participate in this flight, the in-depth and decisive intervention of doctors at Cho Ray Hospital plays a decisive role.

Before deciding to transfer, leading experts of Cho Ray Hospital did not mind difficulties, closely coordinated with local grassroots medical staff to conduct emergency consultations, comprehensively and thoroughly assess the patient's health condition.

Previously, at noon on July 11, the boat capsizing carrying tourists in the Hon May Rut Ngoai area, Phu Quoc special zone, unfortunately killed 15 people.

17 other tourists have been carefully and thoughtfully cared for at Sun International Hospital Phu Quoc. Among them, 16 tourists have been discharged from the hospital, their health is basically stable. Another 1 person is being actively treated for a background illness, Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City has sent leading professional doctors with many modern specialized medical equipment to Phu Quoc to assist in direct treatment.

Immediately after the canoe capsizing incident, the work of mobilizing forces and racing against time to provide emergency care and health care for the victims who are Indian nationals was deployed at the highest level.

Immediately upon receiving the news, Phu Quoc Sun Hospital immediately activated the "Royal Alert system throughout the hospital". URGENTly dispatching 2 ambulances and elite emergency teams to the scene, and mobilizing all medical personnel at the hospital to be on duty for rescue.
