On March 1st, Vinmec Health System officially opened Vinmec Ocean Park 2 Hospital with a total investment of 1,482 billion VND. This is the first medical facility in Vietnam to implement a synchronous integrated treatment - recovery - on-site care model, marking a shift from "simple treatment" to "comprehensive care" according to international standards.
Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen emphasized: The operation of a modernly invested hospital in the eastern part of the capital, Hung Yen province, is proof of the strong development of private healthcare, contributing to the implementation of the policy of socializing healthcare.
The hospital is located in the new growth pole area of the Capital region, helping to expand access to high-quality medical services for people in Hung Yen and surrounding areas, while contributing to reducing the burden on upper-level hospitals.
Pioneering the implementation of the community hospital model, strengthening primary care, managing chronic diseases and continuous monitoring for people is a direction suitable for the direction of health development towards prevention, proactiveness and putting people at the center. This is a model that needs to be continued to monitor, evaluate and replicate if it is effective. However, I emphasize that the core value of a hospital is still to treat patients, bring health and confidence to the people," Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen said.
The Deputy Minister also requested the hospital to focus on three key tasks: First, putting professional quality and medical ethics first, strictly complying with regulations and professional procedures, mastering technology and effectively deploying high technology.
Second, strictly implement the Government's direction on the "5 no's" motto in medical examination and treatment, especially not causing trouble for people and not giving up even the smallest chance of recovery.
Third, focus on training and scientific research; strengthen cooperation with upper-level hospitals, universities and international organizations; and at the same time support and transfer techniques to grassroots healthcare in Hung Yen and neighboring areas.
The hospital is located in Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 – The Empire urban area (Nghia Tru commune, Hung Yen province), on an area of over 31,000 m2, with a scale of 114 inpatient beds, and an expected capacity of 135,000 visits per year. The facility includes 14 specialties, providing full medical examination and treatment, surgery, rehabilitation and post-treatment care services according to international standards.
The highlight of Vinmec Ocean Park 2 is a breakthrough development model. For the first time in Vietnam, patients can access a closed ecosystem from treatment, surgery to recovery and nursing right in the hospital grounds.
In which, the resort is designed according to international "health care resort" standards with 18 presidential villas, ensuring privacy, tranquility and 24/7 medical monitoring. Besides, there is nutrition and personalized care for each customer, aiming to optimize the recovery process both physically and mentally.
The hospital focuses on developing two spearheads: Orthopedic trauma - Musculoskeletal, applying 3D technology in personalization treatment; and specialized rehabilitation for neurological and cardiovascular diseases, post-operative, ensuring a continuous and comprehensive treatment - recovery process.
