Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Le Duc Hai - Director of Do Luong General Hospital (Nghe An) said that up to now, the hospital's doctors and medical staff have not yet received the COVID-19 anti-epidemic regime according to regulations.
"We have completed the dossier and submitted it to the province, but the funding source has not been provided, so up to now, the personnel participating in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic have not yet received the regime" - Mr. Le Duc Hai said.

Previously, the staff and doctors of Do Luong General Hospital submitted a petition to Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung, requesting the early payment of the COVID-19 prevention and control regime according to Decree 05/2023/ND-CP.
In the petition, the doctors said that in the period of 2020 - 2022, the entire medical team of the hospital directly participated in disease prevention and control, not afraid of difficulties and dangers, sacrificing personal lives to protect people's health. However, despite completing the procedures, making a list and signing the regime confirmation, they have not yet received the payment according to regulations.
The hospital collective recommends that competent authorities inspect and review the payment situation for the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control regime, promptly issue a written response and determine the specific payment time to ensure fairness and legitimateness for the grassroots health sector.
Speaking to reporters about the cause of the incident, a representative of Nghe An Department of Health said that for public service units in group 2, the funding source to support medical staff participating in fighting the COVID-19 epidemic is drawn from the unit's autonomous source.
"Due to the pandemic, hospitals encountered many difficulties, so there was no source to pay for the COVID-19 anti-epidemic regime for staff and doctors. The Department of Health has reported this problem to the competent authority to propose resolution, but so far it has not been resolved" - said a representative of the Nghe An Department of Health.
