Ho Chi Minh City merges 80 wards in 2 years, reducing 39 wards

Ho Chi Minh City will merge 80 wards of Districts 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, Binh Thanh, Go Vap, and Phu Nhuan from 2023 to 2025, instead of extending to 2030 as before.
