29/3 Textile Joint Stock Company supports flood victims

On the afternoon of September 18, 29/3 Textile Joint Stock Company (Da Nang City) held a donation ceremony to support people in the flood-affected areas of the North.

The recent storm No. 3 has caused a lot of damage to the northern provinces. In particular, the damage and loss to the people in the North is extremely heavy. Therefore, responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, 29/3 Textile Joint Stock Company in coordination with the grassroots Trade Union, Youth Union and Veterans Association has issued a notice calling on officers and employees to contribute according to their generosity with a minimum of one day's salary.

In particular, all employees and workers of 29/3 Textile Joint Stock Company contributed and supported people affected by the recent storm No. 3 in many forms such as direct contributions and daily wages.

At the ceremony, through the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund, 29/3 Textile Joint Stock Company supported 30 million VND in cash and 1,200 student shirts with a total value of 100 million VND to support people affected by storms and floods.

Mr. Tran Xuan Hoe - Deputy General Director of 29/3 Textile Joint Stock Company - said: "In addition to contributions through the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund, workers and employees have contributed a day's salary. The amount of the contribution, we deducted to the Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Da Nang City with the amount of 300 million VND".
