On November 25, the Department of Agriculture and Environment (DONRE) of Khanh Hoa province issued a Notice on receiving national reserve rice to support people affected by floods in the province.
Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Khanh Hoa coordinated with the State Reserve Department of Region XIII to organize the allocation and distribution of rice to communes and wards.
The time, location of reception and participation are specified in detail in the appendix attached to the notice.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development recommends that localities arrange sufficient human resources and means at the reception points; distribute to the right subjects, in accordance with the quota of 15 kg/person/month according to Decree 20/2021/ND-CP.
The reception must be guaranteed quickly, with the right type, quantity, and quality. At the same time, localities are responsible for managing and distributing in accordance with regulations and records.
Localities that have not received support or have not received enough support during this period need to proactively use the budget or mobilize other legal sources to promptly reduce hunger.
In case the resources are not guaranteed, the People's Committees of communes and wards will send documents to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Finance for synthesis and submission to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province for consideration.
Localities are required to report implementation results within 3 days after the end of the rice supply period.
