On October 23, representatives of the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund in coordination with the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation visited, encouraged and presented 5 million VND to support the relatives of worker couple Hoang Minh Lam and Ly Thi Bich Diep in Trai Moi village, Dong Ky commune, Bac Ninh province.
Mr. Lam (born in 2000) and Ms. Diep (2004) are union members and workers of Luxshare - ICT Company Limited (Van Trung Industrial Park, Nenh Ward, Bac Ninh Province). Both died in the explosion that occurred at 2:30 a.m. on September 8 at a rented room in Mi Dien residential group, Nenh ward.
Mr. Lam and Ms. Diep are the main breadwinners in the family. They left behind a 1-year-old child. Currently, the child lives with her grandparents.
Mr. Lam's father, Mr. Hoang Minh Duong (45 years old), has lost his working capacity after 3 accidents with broken leg. Mr. Lam's mother, Ms. Chu Thi Le (43 years old), is being treated for a fibromyalgia. To help his parents raise the child, Mr. Duong's 17-year-old son stopped studying and went to work.
With unstable income, the family life is currently facing many difficulties.
On behalf of the working group, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor sent his deepest condolences to the family, hoping that the relatives of Mr. Hoang Minh Lam and Ms. Ly Thi Bich Diep would soon overcome the pain and loss, stabilize their lives, and take good care of the child.
