On the morning of September 5, 2024, the Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund to award 20 scholarships to students who are children of workers in difficult circumstances with good academic performance, sponsored by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam on the occasion of the opening of the 2024-2025 school year.
Attending and awarding scholarships were comrade Le Duc Tho, Vice Chairman of the Labor Federation of Bac Giang province, Mr. Do Tuan Long, Deputy Director of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Tay Bac Giang Branch.
At Huong Mai Primary School and Huong Mai Secondary School, leaders of the Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation and leaders of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Tay Bac Giang Branch awarded each school 10 scholarships to students who are children of workers with difficult circumstances studying at the two schools, each scholarship is 1,000,000 VND, the total amount is 20 million VND.
It is known that the sponsor, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), has spent more than 250 million VND to award scholarships to students from 8 provinces across the country.
On the occasion of the opening of the new school year, students who are children of workers in difficult circumstances of the two schools received scholarships sponsored by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam through the Golden Heart Charitable Social Fund of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation as a source of encouragement for them to make more efforts in their studies. From the support, their families used it to buy more complete learning equipment for them, reducing difficulties for their families.
