A source from the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on May 30 said that during this year's Workers' Month, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, together with the grassroots trade unions, presented 146 boxes of Nestle Milo milk and 20 boxes of Nestle soy sauce to workers and children of workers in difficult circumstances.
In total, more than 7,000 boxes of milk (180 ml) and 480 bottles of Maggi soy sauce (450 ml) were given to workers and their children.
All gifts were presented by Nestle Vietnam Co., Ltd. through the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund - Lao Dong Newspaper. Thereby, it demonstrates the sharing and companionship of the Trade Union organization and sponsors in caring for the lives of union members and workers, especially workers raising young children in difficult circumstances at enterprises.
Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy - Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Professional Department - said that at the gift-giving programs, representatives of grassroots unions and workers sent their thanks to Nestle Vietnam Co., Ltd., the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund - Lao Dong Newspaper, and trade unions at all levels for their concern and support for workers.
