Carlos Alcaraz has been nominated for the 2025 Laureus World Sports Awards.
The world-class third-place tennis player is on the shortlist for the Men's Athlete of the Year award along with a series of global superstars from other sports.
In 2024, Alcaraz won 2 Grand Slam titles. That included his first championship at Roland Garros before successfully defending his title at Wimbledon. The Spaniard added an ATP Tour title at the BNP Paribas Open at the Indian Wells and the China Open in Beijing.

Alcaraz ended the 2024 season with a record of 54 13. This is the second time he has been nominated for the Laureus World Sports Award. In 2023, he won the Breakthrough of the Year award.
