Honor surprised everyone when it introduced "Robot Phone, a concept of a phone that integrates AI and robots, can communicate, express and interact like a companion.

At the Magic8 Pro launch event, Honor surprised the technology world with the introduction of "Robot Phone" - a device described by the company as a combination of artificial intelligence (AI), robot and mobile phone.

According to Honor, "Robot Phone" will integrate multi-modal artificial intelligence, robot mobility and advanced imaging technology. This device is not only a phone but also an "emotional companion", able to feel, adapt and evolve autonomously, bringing "happy, love and intelligence" to users.

In the trailer, "Robot Phone" looks like a cross between Wall-E and BB-8 in science fiction films. The device has a rotating camera (gimbal) that can be turned off, moved flexibly to take photos from many angles and even "look around" as if recognizing the surrounding environment.

Honor described it as a step forward in making AI more approachable and approachable. Instead of just speaking, users will be able to interact with devices with emotions and vivid reactions. "Robot Phone" is expected to open a new approach to human-artificial intelligence interaction, where smartphones are not just a tool but a companion.

Although it will only stop at the CGI concept, Honor said it will announce more information at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) exhibition next spring, where the first prototype may appear.

With Robot Phone, Honor is showing its ambition to redefine the line between humans and technology, where the phone not only listens but also knows how to smile back.
