The two aircraft, one preparing to go to Virginia and the other departing from North Carolina, encountered a "low-speed collision while rolling," Delta Air Lines said in a statement.
"Preliminary information shows that the wing of the departing aircraft collided with the fuselage of the arriving aircraft," Delta Air Lines said in a statement.
The video of the incident shows one of the two aircraft in the crash had broken wings.
Both aircraft in the crash were operated by Endeavor Air, a Delta subsidiary. The collision occurred at 9:00 p.m. on October 1, local time. The plane was bound for Virginia carrying 28 passengers, while the other was carrying 57 passengers.
No passengers were injured in the incident, but an flight attendant suffered minor injuries and was treated by medical staff, Delta Air Lines said.
After the accident, the passenger was taken back to the station by bus. Passengers are given hotel rooms, meals and booked on October 2.
Delta Air Lines said it will cooperate fully with authorities to investigate the incident.
In March this year, a Delta Air Lines plane and a US Air Force plane almost collided near Ronald Reagan Washington International Airport.
The incident came just months after a fatal airstrike near the airport. An American Airlines plane collided with a Black Hawk helicopter in January, killing 67 people.
