According to VNA, an article by the American news agency Latinh Prensa Latina titled Vietnam Chooses a Flexible Approach to US Customs Policy emphasized the direction of Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the Government meeting on September 7: It is necessary to choose the most effective solution, balance the interests of both sides, maintain independence, sovereignty and national position.

Prensa Latina also quoted Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh as affirming that although exports are an important growth driver that needs to be promoted, they are not the only driver.

In the article, Prensa Latina resident reporter in Hanoi Moises Perez Mok highlighted Vietnam's viewpoint of enhancing dialogue and negotiation, not confrontation, not causing stress, not complicating the problem.

According to this veteran journalist, the Vietnamese business community positively appreciated the quick response of the Government to support the bloc in responding to the decision to shook the international market by US President Donald Trump.

Journalist Moises Perez Mok said that the Vietnamese Government and the business community have simultaneously implemented measures to minimize the impact.
