Photographers from 100 countries submitted 48,000 entries to participate in this contest. Wildlife photographers have climbed coastal cliffs in Norway, gone deep into tropical forests in Costa Rica or dived deep into the Indonesian waters to capture precious moments of the animal's survival struggle.
