The weather forecast bulletin of the Vietnam National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that since the evening of February 16, cold air has affected many places in the North Central and Northwest regions. The northeast wind inland is strong at level 2-3.
In the Northeast, it is cold, in mountainous areas, it is very cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the Northeast is generally from 14-17 degrees, in mountainous areas it is below 13 degrees.
Hanoi area has rain, light rain; cold weather. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is generally 14-16 degrees.
In the North of the Gulf of Tonkin, strong northeast winds of level 4-5, waves 1-2m high; the northeastern sea area of the North East Sea will gradually increase to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, waves 2-4m high.
South Korea also saw a strong cold front this week. The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasts on February 17 that the lowest temperature on the morning of February 18 will drop to about -10 degrees Celsius. Combined with strong winds, the actual temperature may be even lower.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, cold air flows from the northwest are pouring down, causing temperatures to drop sharply in most areas of the country. The lowest temperature of the day is expected to range from -11 to 4 degrees Celsius, while the highest temperature in the afternoon is forecast to be from 1 to 8 degrees Celsius.
Some major areas with low temperatures: Seoul (-2 degrees/3 degrees), Chuncheon (-2 degrees/5 degrees), Daejeon (-1 degrees/5 degrees), Gwangju (1 degree/5 degrees) and Jeju (5 degrees/7 degrees).
It is forecasted that in the coming days, the temperature will continue to drop sharply. The lowest temperature on February 18 will range from -10 degrees to -2 degrees, on February 19 from -12 degrees to -2 degrees, and on the 20th from -12 degrees to -3 degrees. The highest temperature is expected to be 0-6 degrees on February 18 and 19, and from 0-8 degrees on February 20.
Although the weather will be clear due to the influence of the continental high pressure, the Ullengdo and Dokdo areas will have snowfall in the coming time. The forecast snowfall from February 17-19 could range from 5 to 20 cm.
The Korea Meteorological Administration also warned that daytime snow melting will freeze again at night as temperatures drop, creating slippery roads and black ice on many routes. People are advised to be careful when participating in traffic and traveling on the streets to avoid danger.
In addition to South Korea, many other Asian countries are also facing a severe cold front.
Iraq is expected to experience its strongest cold spell in more than a decade, with temperatures possibly below freezing in the Central and Northern regions. A cold air mass originating from Siberia is likely to appear on 20-23.

In Israel, cold air could snow in Jerusalem this weekend. snow is forecast to fall in the northern highlands and some areas of the Central region, including the capital.
In the Indian state of Kashmir, Srinagar recorded its lowest temperature of 0 degrees on February 17, with the highest temperature reaching only 13 degrees. Several other towns in the Kashmir Valley are also experiencing a similar cold spell.
