The strong cold air mass causing snow and ice in Vietnam and many Asian countries is expected to last for the next 1-2 days.

A series of countries in Asia, including Vietnam, are experiencing a serious cold air mass, causing temperatures to drop sharply, greatly affecting traffic, agriculture and people's lives.

On February 8, the National Meteorological Center of China extended a green warning for a cold front, forecasting temperatures in many areas to drop by more than 10 degrees, especially in the North, Northwest and Hoang Hoi.

In Son Dong province, the sharp drop in temperature forced the government to implement measures to ensure electricity supply and protect agricultural production. In Tho Quang - a major vegetable growing center of China, farmers are instructed to reinforce greenhouses, optimize ventilation and lighting systems to minimize damage.
