Israel suffered a barrage of missiles from surrounding opponents

Israel has faced multiple rocket attacks from rival forces, raising concerns about escalating tensions in the Middle East.

On October 8, Hezbollah announced that it had launched a missile attack on Israel's 8200 intelligence base near Tel Aviv.

The Israeli military later said it intercepted most of the projectiles and there were no serious injuries.

Base 8200 is Israel's largest intelligence and cyber warfare unit, known for operations to sabotage Iranian weapons and prevent terrorist attacks.

Hezbollah in Lebanon fired a total of 190 rockets into Israel, mainly targeting the north of the country. Sirens also sounded across central Israel as the country faced attacks from multiple directions.

Previously, on October 7, Houthi forces in Yemen announced that they had carried out two missile and drone attacks targeting central and southern Israel.

According to al-Masirah TV, two missiles were launched at military targets at the central port of Jaffa, while drones dropped bombs on the port of Jaffa and the port of Eilat in the south.

Houthi spokesman Yahya Sarea said the attacks had achieved their goals and that the group would continue to target Israeli ships and cities until the conflict in Gaza and Lebanon ended.

Although Israel said its air defenses successfully intercepted a missile from Yemen, these attacks remain a serious threat.

Also on October 7, marking one year since the conflict between Israel and the Hamas Islamist movement in the Gaza Strip erupted, Israel continued to face a series of attacks from many sides. In addition to attacks from Yemen, rockets and missiles were launched from Gaza and Lebanon.

In central Israel, two drones from Iraq attacked the city of Rishon LeZion, south of Tel Aviv.

The war between Israel and its opponents is no longer limited to Hamas in the Gaza Strip, but has also spread to Hezbollah forces in Lebanon, Houthi forces in Yemen, and even Iran.

Earlier, on October 1, Iran launched hundreds of missiles at Israeli military targets, avenging the deaths of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders and a senior member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

With tensions rising, the international community is increasingly concerned about the risk of a full-scale war in the Middle East. As Israel’s opponents continue to increase pressure, the recent attacks are a sign that the situation could continue to escalate if no measures are taken to control the conflict.
