Space Perspective's Neptune space celestial capsule will be launched into the Earth's atmosphere by a giant hot air balloon, completely different from the space travel that people often see. This is a dipping sauce with the main purpose of serving tourism, promising to bring a more luxurious and easier experience than traditional missile trips.
In the Space Lounge area with 8 seats for passengers, the Space Spa will operate as a personal toilet on Spaceship Neptune flights.
Jane Poynter, founder and co- CEO of Space Perspective, said: "One of the most consistent questions we receive when people know that our 6-hour space flight is whether there is a toilet or not."
"Of course, the answer is always yes. Having a beautifully designed and suitable bathroom contributes significantly to the unique and accessible experience we are providing, while highlighting the incredible view of the deep darkness of space, Ms. Poynter added.
Space Perspective's Neptune space illusion will take visitors to a maximum altitude of 30km, much lower than the regular trajectory of rocket flights.
Not only Space Spa, Space Perspective also promises to provide world-class food and drinks, luxurious seats and a series of amenities including custom-made headphones, Wi-Fi and specialized accessories for passengers participating in their special trip.
In July 2023, Space Perspective announced that it had successfully sold more than 1,600 space travel tickets, bringing in revenue of about 200 million USD with a ticket price for one seat of 125,000 USD. This figure overshadows the publicly reported ticket sales of any other space tourism project.
Space Perspective is planning to make its first commercial flights by the end of 2024.
