On June 4, Indian media reported that at least seven people were killed in a trampoline outside Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru (India), where the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team held its first win celebration in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The incident occurred when thousands of people flocked to the downtown area to welcome the players back by bus after the final victory over the Punjab Kings team on the evening of 3.6. Some pictures at the scene showed the police were taking the injured on an ambulance, while some others were motionless on the ground.
Trampoline trampoline incidents are not uncommon in India, where large gatherings are often held, especially at sporting, religious and public events.
At least 15 people were killed in a pedal stamping at a train station in the capital New Delhi on February 15. Among the victims were 10 women and 3 children.
In January, at least 30 people were killed in another trampoline at the Maha Kumbh festival of Hinduism.
