According to Reuters, the remains of Cardinal Francis will be moved to the Royal Palace of St. Peter's Cathedral in Rome, Italy on April 23 so that monks, parishioners and the public can visit for the last time, before the funeral is scheduled to be held at 10am on April 26, local time.
The remains of Pope Francis will be placed in an open coffin and taken from the monastery where he lived in the Vatican grounds to the Royal Palace of St. Peter's Cathedral.

The procession will start at 9:00 a.m. on April 23 (local time), going through the main gate of the church, in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of doctors and prayers and Latin ministries.
After the ceremony, believers and the public will be allowed to pay their respects to Pope Francis until 7pm on April 25. The official funeral was held the next morning - April 26.
The funeral was held outdoors in St. Peter's Square, chaired by the Head of the Sanctioned Committee of Giovanni battista Re. It is expected that many heads of state and tens of thousands of people will attend.

According to the papal will, he wished to rest at the Imperial Palace of Notre Dame Cathedral in Rome - where he was especially attached to, instead of the Imperial Palace of St. Peter's Cathedral like many predecessors, with a simple stele engraved with the papal name in Latin: Franciscus.
The tomb must be underground; simple, without special decorations and with only one word: Franciscus - Pope Francis stated in the will issued by the Vatican.
Pope Francis chose to bury him in the royal see of the church for personal wishes, noting in his will that he often prayed there.

Up to now, leaders of countries such as the US ( including President Trump and his wife), Italy, France, Germany, the UK, Ukraine, European Union agencies and the popes' homeland Argentina have also confirmed that they will attend the funeral.
