The video posted by Daily Mail recorded a terrifying moment of a father being shot in the foot while trying to shield his three young children in a shooting at a car dealership in the US.
The shooting occurred at 7:20 p.m. on September 21 at a used car dealership called On The Road Automotive in Eastchester, New York, USA.
At the time of the incident, the 39-year-old father and his three young children were sitting on the coffee shop when a man in a black jacket ran over and fired straight into the glass door that was still open, causing the glass to break.
instinctively, the father immediately hugged the three children and dragged them close to the floor, trying to shield them from the risk of being hit by bullets and broken glass scattered everywhere.
According to the police, the father, whose identity has not been made public, was hit in the thigh by one of the bullets, and was taken to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment, and is currently in stable condition.
The police are also hunting for 2 suspects, one of whom robbed a car immediately after the shooting. The stolen car was a blue 4-door sedan that was stopped at a red light right outside. Hung approached the door and pointed the gun at the 49-year-old driver, asking him to get out.
Investigators have yet to determine whether the father of the three was a target.
