Russia intends to continue economic cooperation with Iran, including new promising projects, Russian Energy Minister cum Co-Chairman of the Intergovernmental Committee on Russia-Iran Trade and Economic Cooperation Sergey Tsivilyov shared with reporters at the residence of the Iranian Ambassador in Moscow when he was present to share condolences with the Iranian side.
We have worked very well in the recent meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee (held in Tehran on February 17th). I have spoken with the Iranian Minister, my colleagues and my friends. We have discussed the agreements that have been reached. I believe this is a major breakthrough," he said.
Cooperation areas will not be interrupted despite all challenges. Therefore, we will continue to cooperate with Iran. At the committee meeting in Iran, we signed a joint agreement within the framework of the intergovernmental committee and established a working schedule in all agreed areas. We will strive to adhere to this schedule despite all challenges," Sergey Tsivilyov added.
