Russia attacks 2 of Ukraine's most populous cities, causing serious casualties and infrastructure damage.

On the morning of January 24, Ukraine's two largest cities became targets in Russian attacks, injuring a total of 13 people, according to announcements from Ukrainian officials. In Kiev, two people were seriously injured and are being treated in hospitals.

Mr. Vitali Klitschko, Mayor of Kiev, said the attacks occurred in two districts on both banks of the Dnipro River. The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that Russia used both drones and missiles in this attack. Mr. Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kiev military, said that drone attacks took place in at least three districts, causing fires in at least two locations.

Kiev has suffered two large-scale attacks at night since the beginning of the new year, disrupting power and heating systems in hundreds of residential buildings. Rescue forces are still urgently restoring essential services for people as nighttime temperatures drop to minus 13 degrees Celsius.

In the city of Kharkiv, located about 30 km from the Ukrainian border and frequently targeted by attacks from Russia, Mr. Ihor Terekhov, Mayor of the city, said that many districts were attacked by Russian drones, injuring 11 people. He said that airstrikes hit a dormitory for displaced people, a hospital and a maternity hospital.

The latest attacks took place after negotiators from Ukraine, Russia and the United States began their first working day in 2 days of negotiations in the United Arab Emirates. This meeting aimed to find a solution to the nearly four-year conflict.

It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
