The two leaders of South Korea and North Korea drove a convertible Benz into a guest house. Next was the car carrying the first wife Kim Jung-sook and Ri Sol-ju.
When the car stopped in front of the guest house, Mr. Kim Jong-un got in the car first and welcomed Mr. Moon Jae-in from the car door into the guest house.
According to the Korea Herald, the vehicles were taken from South Korea to Pyongyang by road in advance to serve Mr. Moon Jae-in's visit.
Meanwhile, security guards followed on the Lexus cars.
This is not the first time that leaders of South Korea and North Korea have been in the same car. Former South Korean President Kim Dae-jung and the late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il shared a car in 2000 at a summit also held in Pyongyang. This event attracted special attention when the two leaders had a private time of up to 50 minutes.
TV stations in Seoul reported that the summit should have the term "outside traffic delivery".
