Speaking at a midterm conference of the Republican Party in Dallas, Texas, US President Donald Trump called this money "Trump's dividend" and called on voters to see the election as a vote for himself, according to AFP on September 9 (local time).
If the Republican Party wins, you will win with us and receive $5,000. This amount will be called a Trump dividend," Mr. Trump said.
With about 200 million adults in the US, total theoretical costs could exceed $1,000 billion. The US President only explained that "our country is making a lot of money".
Opinion polls currently show that Mr. Trump's approval rating is only above 30%, while voters are increasingly concerned about rising prices and the conflict with Iran launched by the US administration.
According to sources, the Democratic Party may win 230 seats in the House of Representatives compared to 205 seats for the Republican Party, and also occupy a majority with a score of 51-49 in the Senate after the election on November 3.
In his speech, Mr. Trump also defended the conflict with Iran, predicting that the US would win and linked this result to the possibility of oil prices falling.

Mr. Trump even proposed renaming the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic maritime route, after himself.
Meanwhile, the conference in Dallas was the first national conference of the Republican Party held specifically for a midterm election. No candidates were nominated and there were no official party activities.
Instead, the organizers built the event according to the model of a 2-night political campaign program, focusing on promoting the achievements of Mr. Trump and Republican candidates.
More than 100 parliamentarians and House candidates are expected to attend, along with more than 50 speakers and programs each night.
Mr. Trump is expected to return to the conference on September 10, after the speech of US Vice President JD Vance. The event also has the participation of cabinet members, congressional leaders and candidates running for the House and Senate in areas with predicted close results.
