The Jakarta Post reported that the police have just saved the life of a girl named H, now 28 years old, in Sulawesi province, central Indonesia.
Police found H on August 5 in a grotto in the forest near the Bajugan village, where she had been detained since 2003.
The 83-year-old lawyer is called Jago by the villagers. The police said that H was taken to a magician for treatment by his family in 2003 because Jago was a famous person in the village with "magic" remedies.
The magician gave H a photo of a boy named Amrin, believed to be a god. He told H that during the relationship, Armin would appear and get into him.
"The girl was lured into believing that Armin had entered Jago's body," said police chief Sulawesi Muhammad Iqbal Alqudusy.
So for 15 years, Jago had sex with H many times. During the day, H was kept in a cave to avoid detection, but at night, she was taken to a tent near the magician's house. He explained to H's family that she had to go very far, to the capital Jakarta to work.
Police said they found H after her sister told neighbors that H was nearby.
The magician was accused of sexually assaulting a minor and could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison.
