Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son signed the condolence book for the victims of the Korean plane crash.

On the afternoon of December 31, 2024, on behalf of the Government, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son visited the Korean Embassy in Hanoi to pay his respects and sign the condolence book for the victims of the Jeju Air plane crash in Korea on December 29, 2024.

Signing the condolence book at the Korean Embassy in Hanoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son expressed his shock and sorrow upon receiving information about the plane crash; on behalf of the Government and People of Vietnam, he sent his deepest condolences and most sincere regards to the Government and People of Korea and the families of the victims; and believed that the Government and People of Korea will overcome the great pain and loss, quickly overcome the consequences of the accident so that the lives of the victims' families will soon return to normal.

On the same day, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu, on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited and wrote in the condolence book to express condolences to the country and people of Korea over the above mentioned plane crash.
