Ready to evacuate Vietnamese citizens from Israel and Iran

Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel and Iran are ready to deploy appropriate evacuation plans for Vietnamese citizens in the coming days.

Regarding the conflict in the Middle East, in recent times, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has closely coordinated with relevant domestic agencies, Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel, Iran and neighboring areas to closely monitor the situation, activate plans to respond to emergencies, ensure security and safety for citizens as well as headquarters of Vietnamese representative agencies in the area.

According to information from Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel and Iran, so far no casualties have been recorded for Vietnamese citizens in these areas.

In the face of the current complicated and escalating developments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has continuously updated the situation, directed and coordinated with Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel, Iran, and neighboring areas to closely coordinate with functional agencies, diplomatic delegations, and international organizations in the department to exchange, connect, and carry out measures to evacuate citizens from war zones and dangerous areas.

As of June 22, 2025, the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran has coordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation to bring 18 Vietnamese citizens in Iran to the third country and return home safely.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has closely coordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt to safely evacuate 33 Vietnamese citizens from Israel and some have returned home.

For citizens currently staying in Israel and Iran, Vietnamese representative agencies in these areas continue to advise citizens to move to safe areas or to third countries to return to Vietnam.

During this time, Vietnamese representative agencies at the headquarters always keep in touch, connect, and synthesize the needs and aspirations of citizens to coordinate with domestic authorities to be ready to deploy appropriate support and evacuation plans for citizens in the coming days.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel and Iran to continue to closely follow the work requirements of the area, maintain close contact with citizens at home and regularly advise citizens to stay calm, vigilant, absolutely comply with regulations, instructions, ensure security and safety of local authorities, and closely monitor warnings from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran and Israel.
