According to Syrian State media, the US and its allies' attacks on Syria did not cause serious damage.
The streets of the Syrian capital Damascus seem to be less chaotic, even all activities are taking place normally as if they have never experienced a state of tension when the joint army attacks.
The US-led airstrikes only caused material damage at a scientific research center in Barzeh district, in the capital Damascus, Reuters reported. The attack destroyed a building, including a training center and laboratories.
Right after the first series of US missiles, the Syrian army took intercept, causing the missiles to deviate. A total of about 20 US joint missiles were intercepted.
According to Syria's state news agency Sana, initial statistics showed that 3 civilians were injured after the attack.
Meanwhile, US defense officials said the attack used multiple launch missiles from aircraft and warships, including about 100 Tomahawk cruise missiles. Defense Secretary Mattis said the US side suffered no losses after the attack.
Currently, the world public is still divided on the US attack on Syria. Meanwhile, Russia criticized, saying that the US attack on Syria violated all international standards, while NATO members spoke in support.
