Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 998/QD-TTg dated September 17, 2024 on completing the members of the Prime Minister's Administrative Procedure Reform Working Group.
According to the decision, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh is the Head of the Working Group replacing Mr. Tran Luu Quang, former Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, who was assigned to hold the position of Head of Central Economy.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh - Minister of Justice is the Deputy Head of the Working Group replacing Mr. Le Thanh Long, the former Minister of Justice, who was approved to be appointed to the position of Deputy Prime Minister of the Government.
Major General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security is the Deputy Head of the Working Group replacing Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, former Deputy Minister of Public Security, who was assigned to hold the position of Chief of Office of the Party Central Committee.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc - Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment is a member of the Working Group replacing Mr. Tran Duy Dong, former Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, who was approved to hold the position of Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee.
This Decision comes into force from the date of signing and promulgation (September 17, 2024).
The Prime Minister's Administrative Procedure Reform Working Group (the Working Group) was established under Decision No. 932/QD-TTg dated August 6, 2023.
The working group is an inter-sectoral coordination organization, performing the function of assisting the Prime Minister in directing and urging ministries, branches and localities to implement goals, tasks and solutions on administrative procedure reform, strengthening administrative discipline and order and improving policy response capacity.
The task of the Working Group is to assist the Prime Minister in directing and urging the implementation of goals, tasks and solutions on administrative procedure reform at ministries, branches and localities according to documents, programs, plans and projects issued by the Government and the Prime Minister.
At the same time, assist the Prime Minister in directing the strengthening of discipline, administrative order and improving the policy response capacity of ministries, branches and localities.
Research and propose to the Prime Minister initiatives and solutions to promote administrative procedure reform, strengthen administrative discipline and order, improve policy response capacity and perform other tasks assigned by the Prime Minister.
