On October 28, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited the Thurrock District Council Office, along with Home Secretary Priti Patel and senior members of the emergency force of Essex County to commemorate the unfortunate victims in the 39 bodies found on the container truck.
In the condolence book, the British Prime Minister wrote: "The whole country and indeed the whole world are shocked by this tragedy and the cruelty that innocent people hoping for a better life in this country have experienced."
Mr. Boris Johnson also expressed condolences to the victims and shared with the relatives of the deceased.
"To condemn the ruthlessness of those who committed this crime, we, the British government, are determined to do everything we can to bring the perpetrators to justice," he stressed.
It is known that along with writing the condolence book for Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Minister Priti Patel, local officials have placed flowers in the Mulberry garden outside the Thurrock district office to commemorate the victims.
