On June 15, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin sent birthday wishes to General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping on his 72nd birthday.
Mr. Peskov said: "The President wishes his Chinese counterpart and friend all the best."
This wish was given after President Xi Jinping visited Moscow to attend the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory in World War II on May 8, at the invitation of President Putin.
