On April 20, the American Center in Hanoi launched the Founders Museum exhibition to honor founders and important events in history that shaped the independent journey of the United States.
The Founder Museum exhibition is one of a series of activities of the US Embassy to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The exhibition starts on April 20, with the participation of the Charge d'Affaires interim of the US Embassy in Vietnam - Mr. John McIntyre.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. John McIntyre emphasized the important role of women in the American revolution, similar to Vietnamese women in the history of struggle, encouraging students to look at history from a comparative perspective between the US and Vietnam, to find similarities and differences.
At the opening event, guests participated in a series of experiences to learn more about American history. The exhibition is built with a combination of information and images about history with modern technology, including images and videos linked via QR code, helping to recreate the story of the founding fathers of the United States.

The content of the exhibition is also translated into Vietnamese and supplemented with localized content to connect US and Vietnamese history.
Visitors can also experience virtual reality (VR) tours, watch documentaries on iPads connected to headphones, answer questions about American history and design badges as souvenirs.

The exhibition also has an interactive wall, visitors can vote "The most American thing".
