The China International Service Trade Fair 2026 (CIFTIS) officially opened in Beijing, opening a wave of digital service and artificial intelligence technology cooperation.

On September 9, the China International Trade and Service Fair 2026 (CIFTIS) officially opened at Sugang Park in Beijing, opening China's efforts to promote international economic cooperation in the 15th Five-Year Plan for the period 2026 - 2030.

The event takes place until September 13th, attracting delegations from 90 countries and territories and more than 1,800 businesses to participate directly. Among these are 473 Fortune Global 500 corporations and leading businesses such as Honeywell, Johnson & Johnson and Siemens.

The fair recorded more than 100 new products and services launched for the first time in the fields of telecommunications, financial technology and smart healthcare. The core area introduced more than 140 innovative models, notably artificial intelligence applications, large language models and intelligent agent systems (Intelligent Agent System).

Notably, the organizers for the first time launched a business support area to reach out to foreign markets, providing a package solution on legal compliance and international risk management.

According to data released at the event, in the first 7 months of 2026, China's service trade reached nearly 4,450 billion yuan, equivalent to 656.6 billion USD, an increase of 8.3% compared to the same period last year. Brand Finance's report also shows that China currently ranks second in the world with 21 brands in the top 100 most valuable service brands globally.
