That is, after the "hammering" of friends, the groom filed a lawsuit

A Chinese groom was stabbed by friends with eggs, beer and squid while trying to escape them at his own wedding.

As a result of his friends's flashy games on his big day, Btime.com reported, the groom Ai Guangtao hired a lawyer after suffering a cracked skull and a "headache" financial burden.

The 24-year-old groom ran across a highway near his home in Zunyi, south of Guizhou province on their wedding day in November to escape the hot flashes of friends and had an accident.

According to Ai Guangtao, friends threw eggs, beer and ink at his brother. They even used tape to tie him to the electric pole and used a bamboo stick to hit him on his big day in the name of a "challenge" ceremony at the wedding.

"I was tortured on my wedding day to the point of being angry. They chased after me and I could hardly see anything because I was soaked with people. Somehow I ran to the highway and still one of them still chased after me" - the groom said.

The Chinese groom was hit by a car and hit the fence directly. After the accident on the wedding day, he had to be hospitalized for 2 weeks with many injuries, including a cracked skull.

Authorities confirmed who was responsible for the accident. The owner's insurance company crashed into Ai, demanding nearly 30,000 yuan (US$4,400) in damages.

"Now the insurance company is suing me, so I will have to sue my friends," he said.

It is known that before the lawsuit, the bride group admitted their mistake and contributed 6,000 yuan to pay for Ai's hospital fees.
