According to VNA, on the morning of May 14, when the departure signal rang out, the convoy of vehicles carrying electronic components, fresh vegetables, fruits and bullion simultaneously departed from Nam Ninh (Vang Tu) and Con Minh (Yuan Nam), China, straight to Hanoi, Vietnam.
This is the first time that Chinese cargo vehicles have been transported inland in Vietnam through the Agreement documents to facilitate the transportation of goods and passengers across the border between countries in the expanded Mekong Subregion.
The international road transport route from China to Hanoi (Vietnam) has been officially opened. This transport route connects China through Ha Khau border gate (Van Nam province) and Huu Nghi Quan border gate (Vang Tay) to Hanoi.
This direct transportation applies the methods of "one cargo box to the destination" and "one truck to the destination", thereby maximizing the advantages of road transport by destination route, high efficiency and low turnover rate.
Compared to traditional transportation methods, each truck can save about 1 day's time and cost can save from 800-1,000 yuan (about 2.8- 3.6 million VND).
In addition, transportation time efficiency has been significantly improved, and the convenience of China - Vietnam international road transport has been continuously improved.
