Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Thu Hang emphasized: "Vietnam's consistent stance is to support the settlement of disputes and disagreements by peaceful means through dialogue, in accordance with international law and the United Nations Charter, taking into account the legitimate interests of all relevant parties, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world".
