The activities to welcome Binh Ngo Spring 2026 have brought the traditional Tet atmosphere to the Vietnamese community far from home, uniting overseas Vietnamese with the Fatherland and spreading the spirit of national unity.

On February 9, the Vietnamese Embassy in China organized the "Homeland Spring" program to welcome Binh Ngo Spring 2026.

VNA reported that, speaking at the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh informed the community about the good results of the 14th National Party Congress, affirming that this is a landmark Congress, strategically orienting the country's development in the new era, with the goal of rapid and sustainable development, comprehensively improving people's lives.

Regarding Vietnam - China relations, the Ambassador said that 2025 is a special year when the two countries jointly celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and implement the Year of Humanitarian Exchange with many rich and practical activities. Bilateral relations continue to maintain a positive, stable and sustainable development trend, with political trust strengthened, economic - trade and investment cooperation playing a pillar role, and people-to-people exchanges increasingly deep.

Emphasizing the meaning of the Homeland Spring program, the Ambassador affirmed that this is an activity maintained and organized annually by the Embassy, showing the deep concern of the Party and State for the Vietnamese community abroad, while contributing to preserving and spreading traditional cultural values and strengthening community cohesion.

Along with the atmosphere of welcoming Binh Ngo Spring, on the evening of February 9, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Preah Sihanouk province (Cambodia) organized the "Homeland Spring 2026" program for the Vietnamese-origin community in the Southwest coastal region of Cambodia. This is an opportunity for people to gather, look towards their roots, look back at the achievements and look towards the future.

Vietnamese Consul General in Preah Sihanouk province Lai Xuan Chien reviewed Vietnam's outstanding achievements in the past time, especially the success of the 14th Party Congress, bringing the country firmly into a new era of development. According to the Consul General, Vietnam-Cambodia relations in the past year continued to develop well in all fields, especially cooperation between localities and provinces bordering the border of the two countries. In 2026, the two sides will continue to promote effective and substantive cooperation activities.

Consul General Lai Xuan Chien expressed his joy that the lives of overseas Vietnamese in Cambodia, especially the Vietnamese-origin community in 6 southwestern provinces, are increasingly improving. The people have shown the spirit of solidarity, mutual affection, overcoming difficulties, and living in harmony with the local community.

Previously, in Phnom Penh Capital, the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia also organized a Spring Homeland 2026 gathering program, creating a warm cultural - foreign affairs space for the Vietnamese community and Cambodian and international friends.

In Korea, the Homeland Spring 2026 program was solemnly held in Seoul, hosted by Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Vu Ho, with the participation of more than 500 Vietnamese people, friends and Korean businesses, along with representatives of associations and diplomatic missions.

Speaking to congratulate the new year, Ambassador Vu Ho emphasized that Lunar New Year is a moment when every Vietnamese person, no matter where they are, looks towards their family and homeland. Spring Homeland has become a spiritual space connecting the community, where Vietnamese people far from home find warmth and faith in the solid values of the nation. The Ambassador said that the Vietnamese community in Korea is joining in the atmosphere of celebrating the success of the 14th Party Congress and the important achievements of Vietnam in 2025.

In the context of the Vietnam - Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership developing deeply, the Vietnamese community in Korea is growing stronger, gradually creating a long-term stable foundation. Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Korea Dao Tuan Hung said that the Vietnamese community here has reached about 350,000 people, always promoting the spirit of solidarity, mutual support and towards the homeland, contributing to the development of the country.
