The Vietnamese men's volleyball team is expected to depart on July 12.
Initially, head coach Federico Rampazzo plans to register 14 players to play in the Philippines including Phan Cong Duc, Dinh Van Duy, Duong Van Tien, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, Tran Minh Duc, Tran Anh Tu, Tang Ngoc Hieu, Pham Quoc Du, Ly Van Chuong, Tran Duy Tuyen, Truong The Khai, Pham Thanh Tung, Cao Duc Hoang, Trinh Duy Phuc.
However, the specific list will be determined by the teams and the Organizing Committee at the technical meeting before the official match on July 14 in the Philippines.
Previously, head coach Federico Rampazzo agreed with the coaching staff of the Vietnamese men's volleyball team to select 17 players after the first training camp to register for 2 stages of the SEA V.League 2026 (the first stage in the Philippines, the second stage in Indonesia).
The Vietnamese men's volleyball team has just had a training program to check professional skills with the Mongolian men's team in Dong Anh (Hanoi).
Players preparing for the 2 legs of the SEA V.League 2026 are all brought to the field by expert Federico Rampazzo to assess their performance.
This year, the SEA V.League 2026 tournament has 6 participating teams including Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Philippines.
At the technical meeting for each stage, the Organizing Committee will draw lots for 6 teams to enter 2 groups to compete.
